Stations 19 & 29
Sky Harbor International Airport, Phoenix, Arizona
As subconsultant, Dibble provided the civil engineering
for two ARFF stations:
Station No. 19 - A 7-bay fire station on a 4.5-acre
site with a 50-space parking lot located southeast of
Terminal 3. Work included grading; drainage; AC and
PCCP paving; sewerline, storm drain, fireline and waterline
design; coordination with adjacent taxiway clearances;
airside security fencing; and relocation of an existing
airfield access/security gate and airfield service road.
Station No. 29- A 6-bay fire station on a 3-acre
site with a 30-space parking lot. Work consisted of
grading; drainage; AC and PCCP paving; sewerline, storm
drain, fireline and waterline design: taxiway shoulder
pavement; coordination with adjacent taxiway clearances;
and airside security fencing.
