The Maricopa Community College District’s new
Glendale Community College North is a 77,000 square
foot expansion of an existing campus. Dibble performed
detailed hydraulic analysis of the site to determine
the impact of flooding due to the 100-year event in
a major un-named wash that traverses the site. Also
included in the analysis was a jurisdictional wash determination
and estimate of the erosion hazard setbacks. The highly
detailed hydraulic model provided RNL a valuable planning
tool to maximize the campus improvements.
