Small Diameter Sanitary Sewer
Rehabilitation - Phase III
Phoenix, Arizona

2006 Technical Specification Update for Small Diameter Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation

Dibble updated the technical specifications for the City of Phoenix Small Diameter Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation program to accomodate work to be performed by area quarter section. Specifications included both the Cured-In-Place Pipe inversion method along with Integral Lining System rehabilitation techniques. The construction bid documents directed construction activities for trenchless rehabilitation of 8-inch through 14-inch diameter sanitary sewers utilizing procedures consistent with current National Association of Sanitary Sewer Companies (NASSCO) Pipeline Assessment and Certifications Program (PACP) and industry standards.

Dibble teamed with Oridian Construction Management (a Dibble company) to assist the City in its efforts to rehabilitate small diameter sanitary sewers ranging from 8-inches through 14-inches in diameter utilizing the trenchless construction technology Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP). The project utilized technical specifications developed by Dibble's NASSCO certified engineers. The Dibble/Oridian Team provided construction management and field inspection services for the rehabilitation of approximately 70,000 linear feet of sanitary sewers.
