Dibble's Transportation Practice Begins SR 90/92 Sierra Vista Design Concept Report Project
| Owner: |
Arizona Department
of Transportation |
| Contract: |
SR 90/92 Sierra
Vista DCR |
Dibbles Transportation Practice is preparing
the design concept report, which will consider upgrading this urban
stretch of highway within the Sierra Vista City limits in southern Arizona.
Continual growth has hampered the highway's ability to move traffic
efficiently. Alternatives will be considered to reduce congestion and
improve traffic operations through the City. Access control and impacts
to right-of-way are critical components to the study. Dibble will study
traffic operations and accident data to correlate areas of safety concerns.
We will also calculate the hydrology for seven large multi-barrel box
culverts and numerous smaller culverts in this landscape where the soil
is very erosive.
