Dibble provided engineering and project management services for construction plans, technical specifications, and a probable construction cost for the improvements to 3.5 miles of a 2-lane, rural roadway. The project includes realigning the roadway horizontally and vertically, paving the existing dirt roadway, and providing scour protection for the five drainage crossings. The design phase included a safety evaluation of the existing roadway, an alignment alternative study, and a drainage evaluation and report.
Dibble surveying staff provided all horizontal and vertical control to facilitate base mapping and ground surveys. Base mapping was prepared by Dibble Survey staff including right of way and parcel line delineations and existing utility locations.
Dibble designed plans to improve the intersection of Higley Road and Warner Road by adding a bicycle lane and left and right turn lanes in each direction, raised medians, and storm drainage facilities, and converting the temporary span wire traffic signal to a permanent signal. Dibble surveying staff provided all horizontal and vertical control to facilitate base mapping and ground surveys. Base mapping was prepared by Dibble Survey staff including right of way and parcel line delineations and existing utility locations. Dibble Survey staff also prepared descriptions and exhibits to facilitate right of way and appurtenant easement acquisitions. All vertical control was based on NAVD 88 datum.
