2004-2006 Small Diameter
Sewer Rehabilitation Program - Phase I and II
Phoenix, Arizona
The City of Phoenix is rehabilitating small diameter
sanitary sewers, some of which are 90 to 100 years old,
utilizing trenchless construction technologies. Dibble
provided Quality Control/Quality Assurance monitoring
during the pipe rehabilitation process. The rehabilitation
method selected was Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) using
Integral Lining System (ILS) along with the conventional
inversion method for pipeline lining. Dibble developed
bid documents containing technical specifications consistent
with current industry standards. The rehabilitation
program for 8-inch through 14-inch diameter sanitary
sewers includes 70,000 linear feet per year.
