| Dibble served as the Civil Engineering consultant to the Design-Build team and designed the civil site elements for the IGC/TGen research facility located on a 16-acre parcel at the northwest corner of 7th Street and Van Buren in Phoenix. The first phase of the project included a new 170,000 square foot building to house the research facility and a 350-space parking lot for employees. The master plan for the site included numerous additional buildings, including several that will be owned and operated by Arizona State University, two parking garages and a courtyard. Dibble worked in conjunction with the Architect to develop a site plan that accommodates pedestrian, vehicular and service access during the initial phase of the project as well as planning for full build-out of the site. In addition, many of the existing utility lines on the site were abandoned and utilities in adjacent streets were upgraded to support this facility and the future phases. |
