Indian School Road,
Drinkwater Boulevard to Pima Road, Roadway Improvements
Scottsdale,
Arizona
Dibble provided design
for improvements to approximately two miles
of Indian School Road from Drinkwater Boulevard
to Pima Road. The improvements included a
multi-modal transportation corridor and a
gateway into downtown Scottsdale and the Civic
Center. The project included a Design Concept
Report, traffic study, roadway widening to
accommodate bike lanes and raised median,
pedestrian facilities, extensive landscaping,
streetscape elements and lighting. Public
involvement was a key element of the project
for both the residents and the business community.
Dibble also provided design for safety and
aesthetic improvements to the Hayden Road
frontage road between Fairmount Avenue and
Whitton Avenue.
