SR 95 - Yuma Streets,
Avenue B to 4th Avenue
Yuma, Arizona
This federally funded project is located in Yuma County
on US 95 within the City of Yuma beginning at milepost
21.84, 300 feet south of 16th Street on Avenue B and
extending east along 16th Street to the intersection
with 4th Avenue at milepost 23.40. Work consisted of
pavement preservation including removing and replacing
asphaltic concrete plus AR-ACFC; adjusting all manholes
and valves to finished grade; furnishing and installing
traffic loop detectors and traffic counter loops; signing
and marking; and other incidental work. Coordination
with local utility companies and City of Yuma staff
was key to the success of the project. The City of Yuma
plans to maintain this segment of US 95 as16th Street.
