Welcoming Lyle C. Begay to Dibble’s Gallup Office

Dibble was pleased to welcome Lyle C. Begay to the team as an Assistant Engineer in the Gallup, New Mexico office, where he joined the Transportation team. Bringing more than a decade of experience working with the Navajo Nation, Lyle added valuable knowledge and expertise to Dibble’s growing presence in the region.

Throughout his career, Lyle served in key roles with both the Navajo Nation Department of Transportation and the Navajo Tribal Utility Authority, where he contributed to projects that supported infrastructure and community development. His extensive background provided a strong foundation for the work he began at Dibble, particularly in transportation engineering and serving communities throughout the Southwest.

A native of Gallup, New Mexico, Lyle was born and raised in the Land of Enchantment and remained proud of his New Mexico roots. When asked what kept him in the state, he enthusiastically pointed to one of its most beloved staples: green chile.

Outside of work, Lyle enjoyed a wide range of interests that reflected his curiosity and creativity. He spent time exploring the outdoors, building detailed scale models of trains, and learning about Viking and Celtic cultures. He also developed a fascination with quantum mechanics and fae lore after being introduced to the subjects by one of his civil engineering professors. His diverse interests and passion for learning brought a unique perspective to both his professional and personal endeavors.

Dibble was excited to welcome Lyle to the team and looked forward to the experience, insight, and enthusiasm he brought to the organization. His commitment to serving communities and his strong engineering background made him a valuable addition to the Gallup office and the Transportation team.
