A Pond Project with Purpose and Impact

When the Banner Thunderbird East Expansion team came together, something bigger took shape. Contractors, architects, engineers, and Banner staff united under the name E2P2—a team committed not just to building facilities, but building community.

E2P2 partnered with School Connect AZ, the Arizona Department of Game and Fish, and the Peoria Unified School District to support a special initiative: the Cactus High School Class of 2025 Pond Project.

This pond isn’t just water and plants—it’s a hands-on learning lab for science classes, a sanctuary for endangered native species, and a place of peace for students and staff alike. Thanks to Arizona Game and Fish Department, it now features native plants and protected fish to promote environmental awareness and education.

Last week, E2P2 proudly joined Cactus High School to celebrate the grand opening. Chris Dolan, PE, ENV SP, Shannon Mauck, P.E. , and Kurt Baldwin represented Dibble and were honored to be part of this incredible collaboration.

Thank you, Cactus High, and congratulations to the Class of 2025 – you’ve inspired us. Also, thank you E2P2 team Devenney Group Ltd., Architects, Okland Construction, MEYER BORGMAN JOHNSON and others. Dibble was just a small part of the bigger project, and we appreciate your partnership!
