A Successful Camelback Hill Climb in Support of Sunshine Acres Children’s Home

We were thrilled with the incredible turnout at this year’s Camelback Hill Climb, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who came out to support Sunshine Acres Children’s Home.

This annual event raises funds to help Sunshine Acres give their kids the opportunity to experience the beauty and wonder of the Grand Canyon. According to event organizer “Grandpa Jim,” the Sunshine Acres Grand Canyon hike has been a life‑changing experience for many children—teaching preparation, training, perseverance, and the foundations of a healthy, active lifestyle. Thanks to every participant, we made a direct and meaningful impact on young lives.

The no‑pressure climb took place on the Camelback Mountain Echo Canyon Trail, where 31 participants completed a combined 37 laps. A special shout‑out goes to Saige Born, who led the effort with an impressive three laps!

This year also marked Dibble’s 16th year supporting the event, continuing the legacy championed by Ken Snyder over the past 15 years. Although Ken has retired, Duane Dana and the team proudly carried the torch—though that didn’t stop Ken from joining us on the trail! Dibble’s long‑standing commitment has even inspired greater participation from other companies, helping make this one of the most successful events to date.

Thank you again to everyone who came out in the beautiful “winter” weather, represented the Dibble Community Action Team spirit, enjoyed the scenery, and supported an amazing organization making a real difference in our community.
