Celebrating a Historic Milestone: Groundbreaking for the McCain Library & Museum at ASU
We had the distinct honor of attending the groundbreaking ceremony for the McCain Library & Museum at Arizona State University—a milestone moment not only for ASU but for the entire state of Arizona. The event marked the beginning of a project that will preserve and share the enduring legacy of the late Senator John McCain, a leader whose impact is felt far beyond political lines.
The ceremony brought together an inspiring group of leaders, dignitaries, and supporters who have each played a meaningful role in shaping Arizona’s future. Among those in attendance were Cindy McCain, Governor Katie Hobbs, Larry Fitzgerald, ASU President Michael Crow, and Arizona Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill. Their presence underscored the significance of this project—one rooted in service, leadership, and a commitment to future generations.
At Dibble, we are incredibly proud to serve as the civil engineer on the design team, collaborating with the talented teams at SHoP Architects. Together, we’re helping bring to life a place that will honor Senator McCain’s legacy, tell his story, and inspire visitors with the values he championed: courage, character, and dedication to public service.
As work begins on this exciting project, we are grateful to contribute to a space that will educate, engage, and empower future generations. It’s a privilege to support a vision that celebrates leadership and encourages all of us to think bigger, serve boldly, and lead with integrity.
We look forward to watching the McCain Library & Museum rise—and to the countless stories it will help preserve and inspire.
