Dibble Promotes Flood Control Experts Josh Papworth, PE, CFM

Dibble is excited to announce the promotion of Josh Papworth, PE, CFM, to Principal Engineer. With more than 28 years of experience in civil engineering, Josh is a distinguished expert in drainage, flood control, and modeling. His extensive knowledge and technical proficiency have earned him recognition across the industry, making him a sought-after authority among industry leaders and agencies in Arizona.
Josh has collaborated with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA); Federal Aviation Authority (FAA); Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT); the Flood Control District of Maricopa County (FCDMC); the Cities of Phoenix, Peoria, Scottsdale, Avondale, and Sedona; Maricopa, Pinal, Pima, and Yavapai counties and countless other municipalities and private clients. His notable projects include the Airport Drainage Master Plan update for the City of Phoenix; the Fountain Hills Area Drainage Master Study/Plan Update with the FCDMC; and Scottsdale Road Expansion, Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd to Thompson Peak Parkway with the City of Scottsdale.
In his new role as Principal Engineer, Josh will oversee quality control for drainage design across all Dibble disciplines. With years of experience in flood control engineering, he will also continue to leverage his technical expertise as he mentors the next generation of drainage engineers. Furthermore, he will refine best practices, enhance design methodologies, and implement innovative solutions to improve project outcomes. This promotion reflects Dibble’s dedication to developing in-house talent and acknowledging the outstanding contributions of team members.
