In honor of Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day on February 22, 2024, Dibble is spotlighting our incredible women engineers. Melissa Dunn, PE (AZ, CO), is a Senior Project Engineer on Dibble’s Utilities team! Melissa has nine years of experience in the engineering industry. During her four years at Dibble, her outgoing and energetic personality has been a huge asset to the team. She is organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven and continues to exceed expectations. Melissa is currently enrolled in ACEC’s LEAP (Leadership in Engineering Administration Program) program.

“I like the investigative work that being in utilities requires. Looking at utility maps, as-builts, and comparing them to above-ground features feels like a giant jigsaw puzzle you’re trying to piece together. I like the vindication that comes with accurately locating utilities through potholing.”
