Flowing with Ideas: Dibble Brings the Energy to AZ Water

Dibble was proud to participate in the 2025 AZ Water Conference, one of Arizona’s leading events for water professionals. Our team was actively involved in technical presentations, interactive demonstrations, and engaging with attendees at our vibrant exhibit booth.

Technical Contributions

Craig Cannizzaro, PE, and Kylie Dykstra, PE, shared their expertise with industry operators as part of the educational training track. Craig presented on lift stations and force mains, offering practical knowledge for design and operations. Kylie took the stage during the “Know Your Bleach” session, delivering in-depth insights on the role of disinfectants in wastewater treatment and engaging operational professionals in essential conversations about public health and regulatory compliance.

Hands-On Learning

Mike Olson, PE, energized the exhibit floor with the Dibble Flow Challenge—an interactive hydraulic demonstration that offered attendees a hands-on learning experience in flow conveyance. The display combined education with engagement, sparking curiosity and drawing steady crowds throughout the event.

#VotesforSocks

Booth 219 was abuzz throughout the conference, serving as a central meeting point where Dibble team members reconnected with long-standing partners and forged valuable new relationships across the industry. But it wasn’t just conversation that drew attendees in—our booth featured a unique and interactive voting board that sparked thoughtful engagement on the future of the water industry.

In exchange for custom Dibble socks, we invited visitors to weigh in on what they believe is the most important priority for the water sector: Sustainability, Critical Infrastructure, Organizational Values, or Public Health. With color-coded stickers and an eye-catching display, attendees cast their votes throughout the event, creating a visual snapshot of the collective priorities of Arizona’s water professionals.

This fun and reflective activity added a layer of meaningful dialogue to the booth experience, and we’re grateful to everyone who participated and shared their perspectives.

Looking Ahead

The AZ Water Conference continues to be an invaluable platform for collaboration, learning, and advancing solutions in water and wastewater infrastructure. We thank the AZ Water Association for organizing another successful event and look forward to continuing our shared mission of building resilient, sustainable water systems for Arizona’s communities.
