Last month, our Mountain West Airport Development Team had the opportunity to attend the Colorado Airport Operators Association (CAOA) Winter Conference, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The event brought together airport leaders, industry partners, and aviation professionals from across the region, creating the perfect environment for collaboration, learning, and reconnecting with colleagues who share a passion for advancing aviation.

Throughout the conference, our team participated in informative sessions, engaged in meaningful conversations with airport operators, and enjoyed hearing fresh perspectives on everything from infrastructure funding to airfield safety and long‑term planning. It was an energizing reminder of how essential strong partnerships and forward‑thinking leadership are to the future of airports throughout the Mountain West.

Of course, it wasn’t all business—there was plenty of fun woven into the experience as well. From networking events to catching up with familiar faces, the conference provided a great blend of professional growth and community.

We were grateful for the chance to be part of this year’s Winter Conference and appreciated the hospitality and insight shared by CAOA and all participating airports. Our team returned inspired, reconnected, and excited for the projects and collaborations ahead.
