Northern Colorado Regional Airport Breaks Ground on New Terminal
On July 13, 2023, Northern Colorado Regional Airport (FNL) held its groundbreaking ceremony for the new terminal. The $22 million project, funded partly by the federal CARES Act, aims to bring commercial airline service to the region and boost economic opportunities. Construction began in July 2023 and is expected to be completed by September 2024.
The new terminal will feature two gates, baggage and security areas, and departure lounges. The existing terminal will remain until the future expansion. The airport has faced challenges in maintaining commercial air service, but recent initiatives like “wingless flights” have brought more traffic.
The project marks a significant milestone for the region’s transportation and economic growth. Dibble is honored to take part in such an impactful project!
