Phase 1A of the Durango-La Plata County Airport (DRO) expansion project is complete!

The ribbon cutting ceremony on April 10, 2024 unveiled the new east wing of the terminal. The east wing project includes expanded seating areas, new gate, new bathrooms, and an additional concessions area to accommodate the record number of passengers in recent years.

Phase 1A was completed on budget and ahead of schedule. Dibble is proud to continue our partnership with DRO on such an impactful project for the Durango community as we finalize Phase 1B design and begin Phase 1B construction administration.
