Arizona State University: Thunderbird School of Global Management

When the Thunderbird School of Global Management joined ASU, they relocated from the original campus in Glendale, AZ to .58 acres at Polk and 2nd streets on the Downtown Phoenix campus. The new five-story, 111,000 -SF building serves as the global headquarters for the school and houses university classrooms, conference rooms, group study rooms, faculty and administration offices, food services, and building services.

Delivered through the Construction Manager at Risk method, the project benefited from Dibble’s comprehensive civil engineering expertise. As part of the core design team, Dibble provided site analysis, a traffic exhibit, stormwater management design, and LEED scorecard input. Our scope included grading and drainage, utility and horizontal control design, dry utility coordination, street lighting, and support through bidding, permitting, and limited construction administration. Throughout the project, we collaborated closely with the owner, contractor, architect, plumbing engineer, and landscape architect to ensure seamless integration across disciplines.
