ASU: Mullett Arena

Dibble provided civil engineering services for the new Multi-Purpose Arena on Arizona State University’s Tempe campus, renamed Mullett Arena. Part of the Novus Innovation Corridor, the 5,000-seat arena hosts ASU men’s ice hockey and wrestling, women’s gymnastics, and community events, with a secondary full-size ice rink supporting youth hockey and public programs.

The project included site design for the arena building, adjacent hardscape, and associated improvements such as water, sewer, fire protection, and dry utility coordination. Dibble performed topographic survey, base mapping, and prepared legal descriptions and exhibits for site boundaries and utility easements.

Dibble also designed over 600 linear feet of new 12- and 18-inch sewer mains and three manholes to support the arena and future corridor developments. Utility relocations were completed to maintain service to nearby facilities. Construction phase services included RFI responses, submittal reviews, and record documentation.
