Phoenix Bioscience Core

This project built the Phoenix Bioscience Core (PBC), a new 30-acre bioresearch and education campus in urban Phoenix. Dibble was involved in the master planning, civil design, and construction phases and helped the developer think ahead to minimize utility and drainage relocations. We also partnered with the various stakeholders during complex land discussions – the land is owned by the City of Phoenix and is leased by the University of Arizona (UA), Arizona State University (ASU), Northern Arizona University, and Wexford. The campus also houses more than 20 private life science/biotech companies and governmental and clinical partners, along with the Phoenix Union’s Bioscience High School and ASU Preparatory Academy.

Key buildings on campus in which Dibble has been involved include the UA Arizona Biomedical Collaborative (ABC) Building, UA Arizona Cancer Center, Health Sciences Education Building, Vivarium, UA Biomedical Sciences Partnership Building, and the nearly 400,000-sf PBC parking garage.
