Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport Terminal 4 S1 Survey Services

Performing topographic survey for Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

The airside facilities for Terminal 4 at Sky Harbor Airport consist of seven existing concourses, with a master-planned location at the southwest corner of the T4 complex for an eighth concourse, the S1 Concourse.

All survey work complied with the FAA AGIs standards, including preparation and submittal of a Survey Work Plan and Quality Control Plan. Apron area work utilized GPS and robotic total station to set control and preform a full detailed topographic survey of the apron area and surrounding PCCP edges associated to the adjacent Taxiway S & D, and Taxilane 3 (S2 Concourse west Apron).  The robotic total station was also used for Taxiways S & D, and Taxilane 3 (Concourse S2 west taxilane). This data was used in design to determine grade breaks at taxiways and taxiway drainage slopes. Full topographic survey for a strip approximately 100-feet wide and 300-feet long was obtained across the south end of Taxiway S and the infield to the west, which will be used for the potential outfall storm drain alignment.
