Two Waters Administrative Complex

In need of a centralized complex for government business, SRPMIC, a sovereign nation, required a facility design to respect the land and celebrate cultural traditions. Dibble worked to reflect the population’s cultural values, heritage, and environmental stewardship. The keys to success were the extensive consensus-building activities with the Community during the planning phase. The resulting pair of welcoming low-rise office structures is connected by a three-story bridge offering a rest area with dramatic desert vistas and views of important landmarks. The program’s offset core maximizes contiguous and flexible work areas, while mingling cultural displays and shaded outdoor meeting spaces with a manageable work environment for varied departments. Nearby is a large cafeteria, a 220-seat council chamber, and a conference center.

Dibble provided civil engineering and survey services for the civil infrastructure design for this Construction Manager at Risk project. Our services included off-site roadway, utility improvements, and a connection to the central plant. Additional improvements to the 10-acre site included parking lots, sidewalks, and grading and drainage facilities. The site was surrounded by existing facilities that required utility tie-ins to this project.
