University of Arizona: Center for Advanced Molecular and Immunological Therapies (CAMI) Building
Dibble provided survey and civil engineering services for the University of Arizona’s (UA’s) new 245,000-sf Center for Advanced Molecular and Immunological Therapies (CAMI) building at the Phoenix Bioscience Core campus in downtown Phoenix. The new $290M research and academic facility will be constructed on a repurposed 2.5-acre parking lot. Dibble prepared a site analysis and master planning documents for the site that took into account the construction of an adjacent innovations building. We subsequently designed the grading and drainage, fire/water/sewer service connections, an extension and abandonment of the public sewer main in 7th Street, relocation of Cordia chilled waterlines, and chilled water/natural gas/dry utility connections. We also designed street lighting, vehicular access, and driveway access; performed a parking analysis and traffic impact statement; and provided bidding/permitting and limited construction administration services
