Senior Designer and Dog Whisperer

Tell us about your hobby.
My girlfriend and I love to travel and also attend sporting events both home and away games. This year we’ve been able to go to places like New York and Chicago. I am originally from Seattle, but I am slowly becoming a Diamondbacks fan. This past summer we got to see a D-backs vs Cubs game at Wrigley field, and I even caught a ball hit by a D-backs player during batting practice. Always bring a glove!

What is your chosen discipline? Why do you love it?
Engineering/Drafting/Design. I started taking Technical Drawing classes in junior high school with tee squares and triangles and I knew even back then, this is what I want to do. In high school I took drafting and architecture classes, anything to do with technical drawing. I also attended a vocational school while I was in high school and got my first taste of Computer Aided Drafting. After High School, I went directly to a Technical College and I was within 2 years of graduating high school, I was employed at a company doing CAD work. I enjoyed it then, and still do today.

What’s your superpower?
I am able to speak to and speak for dogs. At least our dogs. We have five dogs living in our house, and I am able to communicate with them and speak for them. Most of what they have to say is that I’m the best dad ever and they’re hungry.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
I’ve always wanted to go to Europe. But somewhere off the beaten path. Maybe a small costal town in Spain. Spend a week close to the water. Other than that, maybe go watch a baseball game at Fenway Park in Boston.
