I like exploring outdoors. I enjoy camping, hiking, 4-wheeling and spending time with my grandkids. I’m a private pilot and enjoy visiting new places whenever I have time..

What is your chosen discipline (engineering, planning, surveying, etc)? Why do you love it?
Airport Construction. I have always been fascinated with airplanes. My grandfather was an airplane mechanic in the Air Force and my brother-in-law has a crop service business in the central valley of California. As a pilot, it has been my dream to combine aviation with engineering. Building airport improvements allows me to use my talents in engineering and to travel to many places.

What is one thing you’re learning now, and why is it important?
I’m working on my commercial pilot and instrument ratings. These ratings increase my aeronautical knowledge and make flying safer.
