Business Development Director and Multi-tasker
Tell us about your hobby.
I used to cherish the opportunities to hike throughout the State. I grew up camping and hiking the beautiful Arizona mountains. We used to have an annual trip to Havasupai where we would camp, swim in the waterfalls and break away from the constraints of the busy world. I’ve also been able to hike to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, carrying all our own supplies and gear, where we camped for a few nights. These experiences are incredible memories which I hope to integrate into my children’s lives as they get older. We are starting to expose them to this world but starting slow. Hikes these days consist of a few hours at the Phoenix South Mountain preserve. We will work up to the bigger overnighters in the coming years.
What is your chosen discipline? Why do you love it?
Business Development. I am passionate about projects that build the communities in which we live and work. Weather its schools, hospitals, mixed-use facilities, fire stations, libraries, parks, etc., these projects create the foundation for our neighborhoods, cities and our State to thrive. I enjoy being a part of these foundational building block of society and bringing these projects to Dibble so that we can be influential in shaping our environment.
What’s your superpower?
My superpower is multi-tasking! As a strategic thinker and detailed orientated planner, I can maximize by abilities when I am pulled in many directions. My life is like a circus act; juggling lots balls at all times both professionally and personally. When there are not enough balls in the air, things tend to get boring…however, I can’t think of the last time that happened with an active household of boys (including my husband and two young boys).
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
This list is extensive! Having a young family has kept us close to the surrounding states in recent years but we’ve seen some amazing areas is the Southwestern US. One of my favorites is wine country…. Napa or Sonoma! As our kids get older, we plan to explore more. My personal bucket list includes places like Italy, France, Spain, Greece, Ireland, and the Polynesian Islands. We will hit them all in the years to come.
