Tell us about your hobby.
My ranch. It eats all my spare time and money. I used to race. It was much more fun but just as expensive. I got too old though and had to give it up. It was a very sad day. I wept.

What is your chosen discipline? Why do you love it?
Land surveying but I’m not very disciplined. But ya’ll knew that. I enjoy being outdoors, I love the challenge of land law and boundary determination. I marvel at all the natural sciences that affect the art of measurement.

What’s one thing you’re learning now, and why is it important?
Patience. Because I need to.
