Project Manager and Bee Keeper
Tell us about your hobby.
Bee Keeping… I started it back in Indiana several years ago, with urging of Susie’s (my beloved wife) Dad. All along it was going to be the both of us working together. However, it ended up I was the only one with hives in the backyard. I will start-up again this spring with hives. I am looking forward to the sweet desert flower honey. I am and have been very involved with 3-Day Christian movements since 2002. In-fact I am currently working with a team to develop a new Christian event for retirement and assisted living facilities, more to follow.
What is your chosen discipline? Why do you love it?
After a hiatus from college, I decided to follow a construction management degree and career. It has always for me been the perfect balance of design, construction, relationships and accounting. I love it for all those reasons, plus the wide varieties of work it has allowed me to learn and experience. I have been in the general contracting, real estate development, door & hardware suppliers, worship and musical venues, lower and higher education and in numerous countries with high-end stainless-steel swimming pools. And now, I am in a new area of water and sewer infrastructure. It was a wise choice.
What’s your superpower?
Listening to the small still voice inside.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
My beloved wife, Susie and I have only 6 more states to visit, before all 50 are done. Alaska, Vermont, Montana, Idaho, North Dakota and South Dakota… Here we come.
