Jerome, Lake Havasu, and Roper Lake State Parks

Revitalizing Arizona State Parks

Jerome State Park: Dibble prepared design plans for the repaving of the entrance road; rock wall relocation for sight distance at US 89A intersection; conversion of the main parking area into a two-tiered, looped parking lot. Dibble designed a 20-foot-tall MSE wall around the main parking area to retain the parking area. We also designed a cast-in-place cantilever wall to separate the two parking levels. The area lighting was designed integrally into the wall and perimeter pilasters to provide sidewalk lighting. Dibble also provided support services during construction, including attending partnering and pre-construction conferences, responding to questions on the plans and specifications, and evaluating requests for information changes.

Lake Havasu State Park: Dibble prepared final design plans, specifications, a drainage report, and cost estimates for parking areas and boat launch facilities at the Windsor 4 area of Lake Havasu State Park. The boat launch design included drainage, lighting, utilities, pier facilities, a boat washing facility, and parking lot design. The project provided water and sanitary sewer connections to a future bathroom facility located near the boat ramp.

Roper Lake State Park: Dibble completed 1.75 miles of roadway improvements on the Roper Lake State Park Road located south of Safford on US 191. This project is part of an On-Call Statewide Project Management contract with ADOT and included extensive coordination with Arizona State Parks staff.
