Houses University of Phoenix New Campus

Dibble provided civil engineering, survey, limited construction administration and demolition oversight services for the $40M Fountainhead Office Plaza in Tempe, Arizona. The Fountainhead development helped to create a new campus for the University of Phoenix within the existing Fountainhead Corporate Park. The project included the demolition of three buildings and their associated parking areas, the reconfiguration of a lake, then the construction of one 10-story building, one 6-story building, and an above-grade, 6-story parking structure that accommodates 1,900 vehicles. The 267,000-square-foot, 10-story building has five floors for conventional classrooms and a student resource center, while the remainder of the space, including the 160,000-square-foot, 6-story building is dedicated to offices, a cafeteria, and a fitness center for employees.
